Ben Rowland - Blood Brothers
'Some of my happiest memories are from attending Whiteley's academy. For me personally it was where my love of theatre began. I used to call Whiteley's my 'second family' and still to this day I feel that I owe them so much. The reason I am where I am now, pursuing my dream and performing in theatres all across the UK is down to their commitment, passion and expertise. The support and commitment Sandy, David, Joanne and all the team gave me is something I can never thank them enough for.Ben Rowland
Even now, years down the line they come and see me in any show I'm lucky enough to be a part of. I cannot recommend Whiteley's academy highly enough and once you meet them you'll understand what I'm talking about. Trust me, you'll have so much fun and meet some truly amazing people.
Emma Jayne Yearsley - Bollywood Star
I started my training with Sandra whiteleys dance school when I was only 5, Miss sandy and miss Joanne treat me like their own children, I was attending classes over 3 or 4 times a week and I loved it ! It was like having two families. All of the team of teachers always supported and pushed me to believe in myself and be better each day. The whole time we were always a family! Everyone supporting each other and so much love and passion in everything we did.Emma Jayne Yearsley
As I got older I was unsure about auditioning for a Dance college when I left school, but everyone encouraged me to try, Jonathan Whiteley gave me private ballet lessons and helped me fully prepare. The entire team fully prepared me and I could not thank them more than when I got into LIPA! I spent over 14 years of my life with WAPA and it has taught me so many things that I use in my professional dance career now; currently working in India as a professional dancer in bollywood. WAPA taught me how to live my dance life with passion and love. I love the entire team who always are and always will be my second family.x
Sophie Leigh-Griffin - Wicked 'World Tour'
"I attended Whiteleys from the age of 7 years old and, some of the best years of my life and I made some true lifelong friends whilst there. I have gone on to land some absolutely AMAZING roles, starring in 'Wicked' World Tour was an nbelievable experience. Whenever I am back up North I always love calling in to visit the Academy. It's a really rewarding chance to share my knowledge and experience to the talented performers at W-A-P-A.Someone famous
I recently taught a workshop on the back of performing in Wicked. It was such an enjoyable day for me and the students seemed to genuinely love it. I can't wait to come back to teach another workshop soon!.xx
